Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Oversight: Conduct hands-on oversight of production operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of production employees, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve production-related problems, including troubleshooting, coordinating with other departments, and escalating issues to management.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on production data, including production results, downtime, scrap, and staffing.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Food (SQF), and other regulatory requirements, as well as maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Education and Training: Education or degree in a relevant field is a plus, and knowledge of the plastics industry, specifically extrusion and thermoforming, is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with MS Office and database applications, as well as basic understanding of plastic physical properties and behaviors.
