Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Psychologist to join our team. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic and emotional well-being of students.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Evaluation
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths, challenges, and learning needs.
Collaboration and ConsultationWork closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
Counseling and GuidanceProvide counseling and guidance to students individually or in group settings to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
Team CollaborationFacilitate and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress, interventions, and transition plans.
Intervention and SupportDesign and deliver evidence-based interventions to promote positive behavior, academic success, and overall well-being.
Requirements- Education and Licensure
Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology and valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
Experience and SkillsMinimum 1+ years of experience working as a School Psychologist, with proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results.
Knowledge and AbilitiesSound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures, as well as strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems.
Personal QualitiesCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
