Opportunity for a Radiology Technologist

Scismic is supporting the growth of a leading healthcare provider with a team of renowned nephrologists and transplant specialists providing personalized and comprehensive kidney care for nearly five decades.

We are seeking a full or part-time radiology technologist to join our team at our Morton, IL office.

The surgery center operates Monday through Friday, with no weekend or holiday requirements.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, serving patients as a partner with our team of skilled surgeons.

A few key responsibilities of this role include assisting in pre-op and recovery, assisting physicians with angiograms and/or other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique for diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Preparation of the examination area, positioning patients for procedures, and operation of radiology equipment are also essential duties.

Requirements:

  • Radiology technologist certification and graduation from an accredited school for radiology technology, with registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency)
  • At least one year of previous interventionalist operating room experience
  • A great work ethic, attitude, and communication skills, along with a willingness to learn

The salary range for this position is commensurate with candidate experience.
