Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Senior L&D Nurse Specialist. In this role, you will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. You will develop a plan of care that identifies interventions to achieve expected outcomes, provide patient assessment and collection of health data, and document patient health data and interventions.

You will collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing patient care plans
  • Providing patient assessment and collection of health data
  • Documenting patient health data and interventions
  • Collaborating with clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Providing patient teaching and education
  • Participating in performance improvement activities and nursing research
Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL
  • A Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing
  • BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider
  • A minimum of 2 years L&D or acute care nursing experience
  • PREFERRED SKILLS: Maternal Child Health Experience
