About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team at St. David's Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in acute care hospital settings and be certified as a CRT by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). Job Summary
- Administer respiratory care treatments to patients under the guidance of attending physicians.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to assess patient needs and responses to therapy.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanically ventilated patients.
- Perform noninvasive and invasive diagnostic tests and monitoring.
- Clean, perform preventative maintenance, and calibrate respiratory care equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an approved respiratory certification program or sufficient college credits to qualify for certification exam.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $62,500 - $80,000 per year, based on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plans, and more.

Earnings Potential
The estimated total earnings for this position can range from $62,500 to over $95,000 annually, depending on bonuses and overtime opportunities.
