Job Title: Actuarial Analyst - Workers' Compensation Pricing

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year based on experience in the industry and location of work.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will provide high-quality analyses and effectively communicate key outcomes to support profit, growth, and operational objectives in the workers’ compensation pricing team at Liberty Mutual Insurance.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex actuarial analyses to assist business decision making and strategy development.
  • Utilize profit reviews to set plan loss ratios in coordination with reserving.
  • Maintain and improve the current reporting infrastructure.
  • Provide direct guidance and support to underwriting teams with respect to pricing model infrastructure and price adequacy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Associateship or Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS/FCAS) or in Society of Actuaries (ASA/FSA) designation preferred or comparable education/designation with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience required.
