Job Title: Sr. Cloud Engineer-Ansible

Role: Sr. Cloud Engineer-Ansible

Location: Las Vegas - NV (Day 1 Onsite)

Project Scope:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer - Ansible to join our software team. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and robust cloud infrastructure using Ansible.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, and will be able to translate software requirements into high-performance products.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Cloud computing technologies, concepts, and Cloud consulting
  • Expert-level experience in Terraform, Ansible, and EKS
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
  • Experience in the patching process with Qualys/ Prisma
  • Experience in independently driving Cloud Solution design, installation, and configuration of Cloud Automation tools
  • Excellent Knowledge in AWS IAAS service and components AWS VM, Storage, Networking, Database
  • Good knowledge in Datacenter services - Infrastructure Architecture including Active Directory Backup Networking, Compute, and Capacity Planning
  • Should have experience in Transitioning Projects to cloud
Required Skills:
  • Cloud Technology AWS
  • Automation/Configuration Management Tools - TERRAFORM, ANSIBLE, CHEF
  • OPENSHIFT/KUBERNETS/AKS/EKS
  • Containers - Dockers
  • Scripting - PYTHON/RUBY/Power Shell/Bash
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Manage environment lifecycle with Terraform
  • Efficiently use Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Create and maintain DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning, application deployment and database changes using Terraform templates
  • Infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as a Code Terraform Application monitoring and logging - ELK and Log Insights
  • Experience with Ansible playbooks is required
  • Securely handle sensitive data in Terraform code
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters, especially with EKS
Education:
  • Bachelor's in engineering (preferably)
  • Masters or MBA
