We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the accuracy of medical images.



Responsibilities:


  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests to ensure accurate and safe procedures.
  • Follow orders from physicians to position patients and adjust imaging equipment for optimal results.
  • Prevent radiation exposure by taking necessary precautions and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Calibrate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure accurate results.
  • Prepare and review patient records, including imaging results and test data.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology to provide accurate diagnoses and treatments.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.


Requirements:


  • 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist with a strong track record of accuracy and patient care.
  • Active BLS certification and ARRT (R) National Certification.
  • State-specific licensing as required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
