Job Overview
As a key member of the Morgan Group LLC team, the Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our properties. This position requires a commitment to excellence and a proactive approach to property upkeep.
Core Responsibilities:
- Follow established maintenance and emergency procedures as outlined in company manuals.
- Ensure that all grounds and communal areas are tidy and free from litter.
- Complete service requests for make-ready units efficiently and safely.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property, collecting trash and reporting any safety concerns or necessary repairs to the Lead Maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness in the leasing office, model units, clubhouse, and all common areas.
- Keep walkways, entryways, and hallways clean and accessible.
- Ensure that the model tour route is clear of debris for prospective residents.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and guests.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies by coordinating with the Lead Maintenance.
- Adhere to all training requirements specific to this role.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor that are not explicitly listed as essential functions.
Physical Demands:
This role requires being on your feet for the majority of the workday, with frequent physical activities such as bending, stooping, and climbing stairs. The ability to lift and carry items weighing over 50 lbs is occasionally necessary, often with assistance.
Vision and Communication Requirements:
Ability to observe areas needing attention and respond to written instructions. Constant communication with management is essential.
Driving Requirements:
Occasional use of personal transportation may be required to collect supplies.
Work Environment:
This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and indoors in potentially uncomfortable environments. Personal Protective Equipment may be required during specific tasks.
Qualifications:
Skills and Experience:
Preferred candidates will have a high school diploma and experience in housekeeping or maintenance within the property management sector. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service are essential.
Licenses & Certifications:
Valid driver's license and insurance are required if driving for business purposes.
