Position Overview:

We are seeking a Customer Sales Associate for our Residential Parts & Supply Store. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers visiting our supply stores, addressing parts or equipment inquiries, providing quality solutions, processing orders, and responding to customer questions.

This role is designated as On-Site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with customers both in-person and over the phone to accurately assess their needs, respond to inquiries, and provide timely solutions for their HVAC Parts & Supply requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Trane products, services, and promotions to effectively partner with customers and enhance sales by identifying related products and solutions.
  • Execute quote and order management processes with precision to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery, including entering quotes and invoices and following through on order fulfillment.
  • Assist with warehouse and inventory management tasks as needed, including cycle counts, back orders, purchase order receipts, transfers, shipping & receiving, store stocking, and inventory control. Occasional operation of a forklift and lifting of up to 50lbs may be required.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED is required.

Experience in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment with a strong focus on service, continuous improvement, and safety is essential.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, retail, or a related field is preferred; knowledge of HVAC sales and mechanical aptitude is advantageous.

Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and maintain a high level of professional service, even in challenging situations.

Compensation:

This role includes a commission/incentive plan as part of the total compensation package. Please note that the base pay range is based on national averages in the US and may vary based on factors such as seniority, merit, and geographic location.
