Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Junior Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for designing and executing visual digital assets for e.l.f. Cosmetics and e.l.f. SKIN. You will work closely with our Art Directors to translate project concepts into compelling visuals that meet marketing and business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Support the team's Art Directors in designing digital collateral, including assets for web, emails, social media, and paid media.
  • Translate creative briefs into effective design solutions throughout the customer journey, employing best practices per channel.
  • Design all assets with digital storytelling in mind, ensuring brand and message consistency throughout the consumer experience.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure images, copy, and design come together to create the best representation of our brands.
  • Present creative to internal teams, addressing feedback with solution-based creative thinking.
  • Concept and design in a digital/mobile-first mindset.
  • Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with ecomm, marketing, social, and other departments whose activities intersect with creative.
Requirements
  • BA/BFA in design.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a deadline-driven creative environment, professionally or in an internship capacity.
  • Aware of trends and new ideas within beauty and social media, with the ability to interpret those into high-performing brand creative.
  • Ability to execute motion graphics/simple animations for assets.
  • A strong eye for typography and design through a digital lens.
  • Ability to balance business goals with creative vision.
  • Communicate information effectively with relevant members of the team throughout the creative lifecycle.
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines, quickly managing changing priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of digital best practices and channel formats (i.e., Instagram stories vs. display banners).
  • Ability to anticipate workload and communicate proactively with team members.
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills, deadline-driven.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative manner and a highly creative out-of-the-box thinker.
  • Knowledge of computer programs including: Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator, Figma, digital animation software, interest in AI.
  • Understanding of current fashion, beauty, design, and digital trends.

e.l.f. Beauty, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package, bonus eligibility, equity, flexible time off, year-round half-day Fridays, and a hybrid 3-day in-office, 2-day at-home work environment.
