Principal Analyst, Production Scheduling

Position Summary
This role is essential for supporting both clinical and commercial manufacturing planning as well as finite scheduling activities. The focus will be on operations related to ASO/OSD at the manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain precise daily production schedules that align with both short-term and long-term objectives, collaborating with various teams including Manufacturing, Materials, Quality, Engineering, Validation, and Plant Management.
- Analyze planning scenarios to support bulk production plans, providing insights on labor models and identifying bottlenecks while proposing alternative solutions.
- Oversee equipment availability for readiness, maintenance, and project schedules, ensuring all resource requirements are met and troubleshooting any constraints.
- Lead improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing planning processes and associated software systems, guiding project teams to achieve timelines and key deliverables.
- Work closely with Planning & Scheduling peers and other site-based Business Process Owners, as well as Global Network Strategy teams, to contribute to long-range planning efforts.
- Provide training and guidance to manufacturing operations team members on site scheduling functions and procedural maintenance.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a biopharma manufacturing professional with strong organizational and analytical skills. You will take ownership of critical operations scheduling, coordinating the efforts of multiple cross-functional teams to achieve schedule adherence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or
- Associate's Degree in a STEM field with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 7 years of relevant experience.
- Proven track record in biopharmaceutical manufacturing scheduling and planning.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to influence others in complex problem-solving scenarios.
- Familiarity with manufacturing planning software platforms, preferably Infor Advanced Scheduling.
