Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Operative Preparation: Assist in preparing the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary supplies and instruments are available.
  • Scrub Technician: Maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures, handling instruments and supplies with precision and care.
  • Assist Surgeons and Anesthesiologists: Provide support to surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, ensuring that their needs are met and that the surgical team is functioning efficiently.
  • Post-Operative Care: Assist in the recovery of patients after surgery, ensuring that they receive the necessary care and attention.
Requirements
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
