Job Title: Data Specialist, Clinical Research

Join the Simons Foundation as a Data Specialist, Clinical Research and contribute to the advancement of autism research by supporting various data activities for clinical cohorts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to data quality and release efforts for SFARI cohorts and other clinical data sets.
  • Develop and test relevant data collection and review platforms.
  • Advise the Informatics team on clinical data management and standardization.
  • Collaborate with external subject matter experts to identify relevant measures for use in cohorts.
  • Prepare data for internal and external inquiries, publications, and community reports.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D., Ed.D., or Master's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with human participants research, data entry, and summarizing surveys.
  • Familiarity with ASD and other neurodevelopmental diagnoses.
  • Proficiency with data manipulation, statistical packages, and data visualization.
