Job Summary

Georgia Pines is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Social Services Technician 2 to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Crisis Center Program, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a broad range of paraprofessional social services to patients and clients, including conducting intakes, participating in treatment team planning, and performing crisis intervention.
  • Assist patients and clients in dealing with personal and social problems, and provide supportive counseling to consumers and families.
  • Serve as a liaison for social services and perform case management duties.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED and two years' experience in a social service-related position, or Bachelor's degree in a social service-related field, or one year at the lower level or position equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification, or ability to become CPS certified within six months.
