Seafood Dispatcher

At Vallarta Supermarkets, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Seafood Dispatcher to join our team. As a Seafood Dispatcher, you will be responsible for providing prompt and courteous service to our customers, filling their orders for various meat, seafood, and cremeria products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stock and clean the department to meet the goals of the department.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, crowded environment and maintain a sense of urgency.
• Learn the different types of meat, seafood, and cremeria products and their codes.
• Meet the physical demands of the job, including working in refrigerated coolers and around humidity for short periods of time.

Requirements:

• Must exhibit a responsible, professional, and positive attitude towards the job.
• Previous experience in a meat department or a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to transfer to other locations within a reasonable commute of home store.
• Ability to provide proof of employment eligibility in the US.
