Immigration Attorney

New England Justice for Our Neighbors (NEJFON) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing free, expert legal services to Massachusetts immigrants seeking humanitarian immigration relief.

We are seeking a full-time Staff Attorney to join our Pathway to Hope team, representing unaccompanied youth in Eastern Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have experience representing clients in immigration or probate/family court, although we are open to training individuals who demonstrate potential in this role.

• Represent unaccompanied minors in immigration court and administrative proceedings
• Conduct intakes and provide legal advice to clients
• Develop and implement case strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure effective case management and client services

• Bar admission in Massachusetts
• Strong knowledge of immigration law and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple cases

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience working with unaccompanied minors or other vulnerable populations
• Knowledge of Massachusetts immigration law and procedures

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 depending on experience, as well as a flexible hybrid schedule and comprehensive benefits package.
