Job Title: Turndown Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Turndown Attendant to join our team at AccorHotel. As a Turndown Attendant, you will be responsible for creating a restful and welcoming environment for our guests by tidying occupied guestrooms, replenishing amenities, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tidy occupied guestrooms, including turndown beds, dusting, and arranging guest belongings
  • Report any mattress protector, blankets, bedspreads, and valances in need of change
  • Call In Room Dining for removal of trays/trolleys
  • Update, record, and/or report suite status: turned down, do not require service, Privacy Please, etc.
  • Take accurate room status reports at the end of the shift
  • Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any malfunctioning equipment
  • Keep linen closets, supply closet, and landing organized and clean
  • Maintain an atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to our discerning guests
  • Focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Be knowledgeable of the island, our resort, and its offerings in order to be our guests' trusted guide
  • Carry out duties in accordance with company policies/procedures to ensure safety and security of guests and colleagues, including reporting suspicious persons and lost and found items
  • Promote and enforce health and safety awareness as well as have a complete understanding of the emergency procedures
  • Follow hotel and departmental policies, procedures, and service standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment is desirable
  • Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an asset
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
  • Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
  • Must have manual dexterity to be able to carry out essential functions, operate housekeeping devices, and other cleaning equipment as needed

Working Environment:

  • Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to push and pull 100 lbs.
  • Constant standing, walking, and reaching
  • Frequent lifting/carrying, pushing, and pulling
  • Occasional crouching, bending, stooping, and kneeling
  • Requires grasping, writing, repetitive motions, listening, hearing, and visual acuity
