We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist I to join our team at the California Rehabilitation Center in Riverside County. As a member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation programs.
About the JobThe Pharmacist I position is a part-time opportunity that requires 28 hours of work per week. You will be responsible for preparing, manufacturing, and dispensing drugs and pharmaceutical preparations; filling prescriptions; reviewing patients' charts and medication regimens; participating in treatment team meetings; providing ongoing consultation to the treatment teams and to the Medical Review Committee; implementing and/or maintaining unit dose system; as required, supervising and instructing nonprofessional assistants in routine phases of the work; keeping records of drugs, poisons, and narcotics as required by Federal and State laws; properly handling investigational drugs; assisting in the preparation of estimates and requisitions for the drugs, sundries and chemicals required, and keeping records of those received, on hand and dispensed; providing or assisting with in-service training; supervising, instructing, and being responsible for nonprofessional assistants doing the routine, maintenance, and technical aspects of pharmaceutical work; and performing other related work.
Requirements- Possession of a valid certificate of registration as a licentiate in pharmacy issued by the State Board of Pharmacy. (Individuals in their final semester of an accredited school of pharmacy or have graduated from an accredited school of pharmacy may be admitted to the exam, however, they must secure a valid certificate of registration as a licentiate in pharmacy before they will be considered eligible for appointment.)

We offer a competitive salary range of $8,702.40 to $10,360.70 per month, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
