Auto Glass Technician Trainee Job Description

Are you looking for a career in the auto glass industry? Safelite Group, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Glass Technician Trainee to join our team. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop the skills necessary to become a certified auto glass technician.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair auto glass
  • Recalibrate automotive safety systems
  • Provide additional services and products
  • Study and pass testing to become a Safelite-certified Technician
What We Offer:
  • Competitive weekly pay starting at $22.25/hour, increasing to $26.75/hour after training and certification
  • Earn $5/set of wiper blades when added for customer safety

Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid state-issued driver's license required
  • Comfortable working outside in a wide variety of weather conditions
  • Ability to work scheduled days, with flexibility on start and end times to accommodate customer needs
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
