Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and evaluating respiratory insufficiencies. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patient needs and developing effective care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies
  • Assess patient needs and develop a plan of care based on diagnosis
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans and equipment
  • Evaluate respiratory practice and administration of medications
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions and community resources
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner credential from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board
  • Advanced Life Support certification preferred
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification preferred
  • Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation preferred
