High-Pressure Excavation Specialist

About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled Hydrovac Operator with experience in CCTV and line jetting to join our team at Badger Daylighting Corp. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating high-pressure water and vacuum systems to safely excavate and uncover utilities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Operate hydrovac equipment in various working environments, including confined spaces.
- Drive our hydrovac trucks (approximately 10-15% of total work time).
- Attend safety meetings and maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform routine inspections and minor repairs of the hydrovac equipment.
- Set up safety measures and address potential hazards before starting work.
- Document and report all required paperwork accurately and efficiently.
What We're Looking For:
- A valid Class A or B CDL with Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
- CPR/First Aid, Fall Protection, and OSHA 10 certification are preferred.
- Experience driving a manual transmission (10-18 speed) without automatic restrictions is desired.
- The ability to work variable shifts with extended hours is necessary.
- You must be willing to travel up to 25%.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling objects weighing over 50 pounds and having the physical stamina for manual labor in varying weather conditions are essential.
- Prior hydrovac equipment operation or related industrial experience is highly valued.
- You must be at least 21 years old.
Salary and Benefits:
This role comes with a competitive salary of $30.00 per hour, with opportunities for pay increases and career advancement based on experience.
