Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Specialist to join our team. As a Caregiver Specialist, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them to achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Assist individuals with their personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges or complex needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to help individuals achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that individuals receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, helping them to build meaningful relationships and connections.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for day and evening shifts.
