Position Overview:

The School of Nursing and Health Sciences is seeking a dedicated and dynamic faculty member to contribute to our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. We are looking for candidates who can enhance our nursing department, which has been a vital part of our institution since its establishment.

Role Expectations:

We are inviting applications for non-tenure track faculty positions (Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor) for a 9-month contract in nursing. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our newly developed Nursing Center, which features advanced simulation labs, classrooms, and collaborative spaces.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:
1. A Master's degree in nursing (Doctoral preparation preferred).
2. A current and unencumbered RN license in Massachusetts, along with CPR certification and necessary immunizations.
3. A minimum of two years of full-time experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, or critical care nursing within the last five years, with evidence of clinical competence in clinical instruction.
4. Experience in nursing education at the college level is preferred.
5. A defined research agenda appropriate for the candidate's career stage.
6. Excellent clinical skills in medical-surgical nursing or related fields to support clinical education.
7. An understanding of healthcare disparities and the needs of underserved communities.
