Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive security architecture strategy aligned with the organization's overall business and IT strategies.
- Provide expert-level guidance and support to business and IT stakeholders on security-related matters, including risk assessment, vulnerability management, and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure systems and applications, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational compliance.
- Assess and mitigate security risks, using tools such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and the FFIEC Cyber Assessment Tool.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report on security metrics, including compliance to IS standards by application and system owners.
- Lead and mentor team members to ensure the development of their skills and expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, preferred.
- Eight (8) years of experience in Information Security, with a focus on software development, secure SDLC, or security architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate risk versus reward and apply in a meaningful manner to the benefit of the organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently without daily direction.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in an effective manner.
- Expert-level knowledge of security principles, solutions, tools, methodologies, and techniques.
- Strong understanding of risks associated with virtualization and cloud-based computing, and the impact of those technologies on an organization's security posture.
