Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive security architecture strategy aligned with the organization's overall business and IT strategies.
  • Provide expert-level guidance and support to business and IT stakeholders on security-related matters, including risk assessment, vulnerability management, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure systems and applications, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational compliance.
  • Assess and mitigate security risks, using tools such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and the FFIEC Cyber Assessment Tool.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on security metrics, including compliance to IS standards by application and system owners.
  • Lead and mentor team members to ensure the development of their skills and expertise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, preferred.
  • Eight (8) years of experience in Information Security, with a focus on software development, secure SDLC, or security architecture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate risk versus reward and apply in a meaningful manner to the benefit of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently without daily direction.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in an effective manner.
  • Expert-level knowledge of security principles, solutions, tools, methodologies, and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of risks associated with virtualization and cloud-based computing, and the impact of those technologies on an organization's security posture.
