Compassionate Caregiver for In-Home Support

We are seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide essential care and support to individuals in need in the Fountain, MN area. As an in-home caregiver with Village Caregiving - Rochester, MN, you will work independently to assist clients in their homes, making a meaningful impact in their lives.

This part-time, hourly position offers a competitive salary based on experience, with a range of $18-$22 per hour, paid on a semi-monthly basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing in-home care and support to clients, including assistance with personal hygiene, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of care.
• Observing and reporting any changes in client behavior or condition to the appropriate supervisor.
• Utilizing electronic timekeeping software to accurately clock in/out of shifts and submit necessary documentation.
• Communicating effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required.
• To be at least 18 years of age.
• To have a clear background check.
• To hold a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• To possess a compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude.
• To be able to work independently.
• To have basic knowledge of personal care, hygiene, and nutrition.
