Job Description:

Surveying Technician

  • Applications are accepted for the position of Surveying Technician at Sapphire Solutions.
  • The training program is designed to provide knowledge and skills to capture the forms of the earth's surface in the field using surveying methods and to further process the results through calculations and evaluations of this data until it is provided in the form of digital maps and plans.
  • The training includes new learning content, such as basics of geoinformation technology, new training structures, new examination content, and examination methods.
  • The training aims to enable young people to master the holistic processes of surveying and understand and apply all facets of the profession.

The training is based on the dual system and lasts for 3 years. The vocational school usually takes place part-time one to two days a week. The lessons are both specialized and general education. Under certain conditions, higher educational qualifications can be obtained as part of the general education component. A midterm exam must be taken at the beginning of the second year of training. The qualification for the profession is acquired through the successful completion of the final exam.
