We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems in various industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, biotech, and pharma.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Testing and commissioning of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and heavy manufacturing systems
  • Maintaining multiple commissioning projects, ranging from 3-10 projects at a time, both new construction and renovation
  • Leading the commissioning process, interfacing with clients, overseeing subcontractors, schedule coordination, quality, and deliverables
  • Oversight of design reviews and needs prior knowledge of building codes as well as site safety procedures
  • Collaborating with a team of 3-5 individuals, varying from project to project, and interfacing with maintenance and contractor personnel in the field
Requirements:
  • 3-10 years of direct experience in this field with building/mechanical systems
  • Prior commissioning and testing of electro-mechanical building systems including plumbing, HVAC, and heavy manufacturing
  • Bachelors in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering (ABET)
  • Prior experience writing their own test scripts Commissioning certifications: CxA, CCP, BCxP, NEBB, NETA, or QCxP
  • Prior lead experience in a commissioning/testing environment
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License
  • Ability to obtain clearance
  • Prior use of temperature loggers or flow meters
  • Familiarity with energy modeling
  • Commissioning/testing in a clean room environment
