Veterinarian - Animal Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team at Southern Veterinary Partners. As a Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients while developing strong relationships with their owners.
Key Responsibilities- Perform physical examinations, surgeries, and dentistry procedures while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain physical examination findings, diagnose problems, and present treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate client/patient medical records and assist colleagues in follow-up and future management of patients.
- Stay up-to-date with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine through continuing education and professional development.
- Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure delivery of high-quality care and exceptional client service.
- Represent the hospital positively in the professional community and to the general public.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Texas.
- Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
- Ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members.
- Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets.
- Compassionate team player who can uphold a great reputation with clients.
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
