# #Completion of Nursing Assistant I training is mandatory, along with meeting the North Carolina Nurse Aide I registry criteria for inclusion in the Healthcare Personnel Registry. A high school diploma or equivalent is expected within one year of employment.# #Demonstrated ability to interact courteously with patients, nursing staff, physicians, hospital personnel, and the general public is essential.# Familiarity with personal computing, medical terminology, laboratory tests, typing proficiency, and basic grammar is required.# Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary.
