Job Summary

Minds Matter, LLC is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to supervise physical therapist assistants (PTAs) and conduct in-person evaluations. This role also offers the opportunity to work from home.

The ideal candidate will provide rehabilitation services that help individuals with brain injuries reach their highest level of motor functioning and mobility. They will work with consumers to develop skilled therapy goals, provide supervision to PTAs, and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess consumers' physical and mental abilities.
  • Develop and implement effective therapy plans to address consumer needs.
  • Supervise PTAs, providing guidance, feedback, and support as needed.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, effectiveness of strategies, and concerns.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure consumer goals are met.
  • Attend workshops and training sessions to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality of protected health information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.
  • Current licensure in Kansas.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to teach skills to individuals with disabilities.
  • Sensitivity towards all people.
  • Creativity, adaptability, and flexibility.
  • Basic to moderate technology skills.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Total compensation package includes benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
