Job Highlights:

Epic Travel Staffing is looking for a Travel RN - PCU

Shift Details: Night shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every other weekend.

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Qualifications:

  • Valid nursing license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
  • Experience in post-catheterization care, including TR band management
  • Advanced skills required: management of TR band, advanced pulmonary treatments, medication titration
  • BCLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • Trauma III certification
Additional Information:
  • Documentation system utilized: Meditech
  • Floating responsibilities in coordination with full-time staff and other traveling nurses

Unit Details:

  • Number of Beds: 12
  • Patient Ratios: 4:1
  • Unit staffing includes: 1 technician available for the unit

Equipment Used: GE Monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis medication dispensing system

Patient Experience Expectations: AIDET, completion of communication boards, medication education
