Chief Deputy Treasurer

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as a Chief Deputy Treasurer. This role involves managing the Treasury operations, investing the Treasurer's pool of approximately $2.7 billion, and overseeing the day-to-day cash flow needs of the County, Schools, and Special Districts.

• Manage banking operations and handle bond issuance, administration, and disclosure.
• Develop and manage financial policies, oversee budget preparation, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Supervise a team of three direct reports and nine total positions, participate in committees, and manage financial systems.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and provide high-quality work while managing office priorities and staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public finance, excellent leadership skills, and an ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders. They should be skilled at managing office priorities and staff while consistently delivering high-quality work. As a self-starter, the candidate must be able to work independently, applying their understanding of state and federal laws, past experience, and thorough research to solve problems effectively.
