Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary care team at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital - NH. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide physical therapy assessment and treatment in an inpatient acute bedside setting, delivering rehabilitation services in an inpatient acute rehab setting.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care.
- Maintain patient records and documentation in alignment with professional and legal standards.
- Educate patients and their families about ongoing therapy needs and safe practices.
- Adhere to the dress code, wearing Olive Green Scrubs.
- Participate in orientation and training sessions as required, totaling 66.50 hours.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Knowledge of Physical Therapy practices.
- Experience working in inpatient acute bedside and inpatient acute rehab settings.
- NYS Physical Therapist License.
- BCLS certification.
