We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced surgical pathologist to join our team at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. As a faculty member, you will play a critical role in advancing our department's mission to provide exceptional patient care, education, and research.

About the Position

This is a full-time faculty position in the Department of Pathology, with a focus on surgical pathology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in anatomic pathology and experience in teaching and research. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in renal transplant and head and neck pathology.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality diagnostic services in surgical pathology
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Contribute to research and scholarly activities
  • Participate in departmental and institutional service activities
Requirements

Board certification or eligibility in anatomic pathology is required. Additional subspecialty training and/or expertise in head and neck pathology is highly desirable. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research funding and/or scholarly achievements.
