Nuclear Medicine Technologist Opportunity

The Mass General Brigham organization is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team on a per diem basis in Boston, Massachusetts. This opportunity allows individuals to work flexible hours, up to 8.00 hours per week, with varying shifts available.
Responsibilities
This position will cover PET/CT, General Nuclear Medicine, and Nuclear Cardiology, requiring the technologist to administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, and prepare patients for exams. Key duties include:
- Assaying, recording, preparing, and administering radiopharmaceuticals
- Operating SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT imaging and radiation detection equipment
- Positioning and immobilizing patients as needed
- Selecting proper imaging and data processing techniques
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a graduate degree from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program, hold a valid Massachusetts license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, and be registered or eligible for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Strong interpersonal skills, analytical abilities, and adaptability are also essential for effective patient care and communication.
Estimated Salary Range
$85,000 - $110,000 per year
