Key Responsibilities- Assess patient conditions through comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform patient care.
- Prescribe and administer medical treatments, including medications and procedures.
- Develop and implement comprehensive patient treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Counsel patients on medical conditions, treatment options, and health promotion.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- 3+ years of experience in a surgical setting.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
