Job Description

Job Title: Early Childhood Educator - Infant Program

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Discovery Isle Preschool. As an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our youngest students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a literacy-based curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, and emotional growth in infants.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement activities that foster a love of learning and promote child development.
  • Establish a safe and healthy environment that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of infants.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Complies with all company and state-specific standards and maintains validation of required credentials for the position.
  • Complies with all state-specific education requirements.
  • Must have one of the following:
    • 12 Units in Early Childhood Education, Child Development along with Infant/Toddler coursework
    • High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of experience with infants.
