General Labor Operator

WestRock is seeking a skilled General Labor Operator to join our team at our Montgomery facility. As a General Labor Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various manufacturing equipment, following specific directions and utilizing hand tools as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and reporting any unsafe conditions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Perform daily tasks, including lifting, pushing, or pulling 50 pounds, walking, standing, bending, and kneeling throughout a shift.
  • Read tape measures and possess basic math and computer skills.

Requirements:

  • High School or Equivalent
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus
