Overview

As a Logistics Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their wine and spirits orders promptly and efficiently. You'll be responsible for delivering products to various locations, maintaining excellent customer service, and upholding the highest safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of delivery vehicles to guarantee safe operation.
  • Collaborate with dispatchers to receive delivery schedules and promptly communicate any delays or issues.
  • Safely navigate established routes to deliver wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages to assigned clients.
  • Address customer concerns regarding product condition, ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Accurately assemble customer orders and efficiently complete the delivery process.
  • Organize products within designated storage areas at client locations.
  • Maintain accurate records of route activity and deliveries.
  • Process payments for delivered goods as required.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, identifying potential sales opportunities and informing the sales team.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols, Department of Transportation regulations, Alcoholic Beverage Control guidelines, and warehouse delivery policies.
  • Ensure vehicles, products, and equipment are kept clean and in optimal working condition.
  • Report any incidents or accidents to the dispatcher immediately.
  • Comply with all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • One year of relevant experience in a delivery or logistics role.
  • Valid Department of Transportation (DOT) certification.
