Clinical Specialist for Wound, Ostomy and Continence Care

The Albany Medical Center seeks a highly skilled Wound, Ostomy and Continence (WOC) Nurse to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients while working with a dedicated healthcare team.
About the RoleWe are looking for a professional who possesses excellent clinical expertise in wound, ostomy and continence care. As a WOC Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, educating patients and families, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assessing patients' wound, ostomy and continence care needs
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to enhance patient care and outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and current NYS Registered Nurse license
- Experience in wound, ostomy and continence care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
