Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Water Treatment Plant Operator I or Trainee to join our team at Government Jobs. As a key member of our Utility, you will be responsible for the efficient control of processes and equipment at the Water Treatment and Reuse Plants to meet all regulatory compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate pumps, filters, chemical feed systems, membranes, and other water treatment equipment
- Observe, interpret, and document plant operations and data to produce a high quality, sufficient volume of water
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and housekeeping
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth plant operations

Requirements:

- Strong understanding of water treatment processes and equipment
- Ability to work night shifts and be flexible with scheduling
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
