Key Responsibilities:

The Industrial Lubrication Specialist plays a crucial role within the Maintenance Team, supporting Millwrights and executing preventative maintenance on machinery. Responsibilities include:

  • Lubricating and servicing mechanical components, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Maintaining appropriate oil levels in gearboxes and hydraulic systems.
  • Filling oil cans and grease guns with designated lubricants.
  • Applying lubricants to moving parts and greasing bearings and friction surfaces.
  • Managing the movement of bulk lubricants to central distribution points using motorized equipment.
  • Reporting any defective or malfunctioning machinery to the supervisor.
  • Maintaining an inventory of lubricants and collaborating with Millwrights and purchasing for necessary supplies.

All duties must be performed in accordance with established safety protocols.


Job Requirements:

Applicants must possess the ability to:

  • Read and comprehend safety regulations and printed materials.
  • Consistently execute safety functions associated with essential job duties.
  • Follow reasonable instructions and plan tasks with minimal supervision.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid driver's license. Flexibility in work schedule, including shift work and overtime, is essential. Candidates must demonstrate courteous and respectful interactions with coworkers and maintain professionalism with customers and vendors.


Physical Requirements:

The role requires the ability to:

  • Move safely and efficiently while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Stand or sit for extended periods, reach, stoop, squat, twist, push, pull, and maintain balance.
  • Tolerate various weather conditions, loud environments, vibrations, and airborne particles.
