Job Summary

As a Clinic LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team at Bryan Health. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in their medical practice by providing technical assistance and care to patients who are chronically or acutely ill.
  • Work under supervision to assist in restoring or maintaining patients at a maximum level of health.
  • Provide technical nursing care through interviews, assessments, and vital signs.
  • Administer medications topically, orally, and by injection as ordered by the physician.
  • Administer treatments within your scope of practice as ordered by the physician.
  • Assist physicians with examinations and procedures as needed.
  • Prepare patients for procedures per protocol.
  • Arrange diagnostic procedures and obtain prior authorizations.
  • Participate in obtaining and meeting quality measures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and monitor equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.
  • May assist physicians with minor surgery.
  • Answer telephone calls, respond to patient concerns or questions, and intervene to solve patient problems.
  • Maintain appropriate records, assist with coding, and patient charges.
  • Collect and properly dispose of selected specimens.
  • Provide education to patients and families.
  • Assist with filling and refilling prescriptions per doctor's orders.
  • Cooperate with other personnel to maintain good employee and public relations.
  • Inform your supervisor or clinic Director of concerns or problems.
  • Attend required meetings and maintain personal growth and development through workshops and in-service meetings.
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Nebraska license.
  • Requires knowledge of technical nursing procedures.
  • Must be CPR certified.
