Procurement Strategist

The Purchasing Manager is a key member of our team at LHH, responsible for developing and executing purchasing strategies that drive cost optimization and enhance supply chain efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

• Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Supplier Selection and Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to ethical and sustainability standards.
• Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing, payment terms, and mutually beneficial agreements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and align procurement activities with organizational goals.
• Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing fluctuations.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, analyze demand patterns, and implement inventory management strategies to manage stock levels and avoid shortages or excesses.

Requirements:

• Leadership and Negotiation Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, negotiation skills, and analytical abilities.
• Business Acumen: Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management, business sense, and proficiency in gathering and analyzing data.
• Decision-Making and Vendor Management: Decision-making skills and proficiency in vendor management software.
