Job Description

The Prep Cook at McCoy's Chophouse is responsible for preparing ingredients and cooking components for our menu items. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chop vegetables, trim meat and fish, and prepare sauces and dressings
  • Help with other tasks, including storing leftover food, washing dishes, cleaning work areas, and emptying trash
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Restock food supplies and take inventory as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food preparation or a related field
  • Fluent English-speaking and writing skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for long periods
  • Strong stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
