Position Overview

The Travel Multi-modality Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This position requires proficiency in both Computed Tomography (CT) and diagnostic radiography (X-ray).

Certification Requirements
  • Primary ARRT certification is mandatory.
  • ARRT (CT) certification is essential.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
Job Responsibilities

The technologist will:

  • Conduct diagnostic medical radiographic examinations, including CT and X-ray.
  • Collaborate with radiologic teams or operate independently in a critical access rural regional hospital setting.
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures diligently.
Job Requirements
  • Completion of at least one previous 13-week travel assignment is necessary.
  • EMR experience, particularly with EPIC, is preferred.
Schedule Information
  • Night shifts commence at 20:30.
  • Schedules may vary to meet departmental staffing needs.
  • Flexibility for nights, weekends, holidays, and floating as part of the staff rotation is expected.
  • Travelers will be the first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within a 20-mile radius of their assigned location.
Additional Considerations
  • Travelers must not have been employed by the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for the past 12 months.
  • State tax obligations will be processed through the agency and reflected in invoices.
  • State tax payments should be directed to the appropriate authorities in New Mexico.
