Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Algonquin, IL. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders, supporting their academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of student-specific goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid SLP license or certification in Illinois.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
