Position Overview:

The Senior Engineering Project Leader will report directly to the Director of Engineering. This role encompasses the strategic planning and execution of engineering and maintenance initiatives, including:

  • Overseeing project timelines and deliverables for engineering projects.
  • Evaluating engineering designs and specifications for clinical facility systems.
  • Managing and organizing the inventory of engineering and maintenance equipment.
  • Collaborating effectively with designers and engineers throughout renovation and construction phases.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School diploma is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree.
  • For candidates with only a High School diploma, at least 8 years of related experience is required, including 4 years in a comparable role.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of facility systems, design principles, and maintenance project methodologies.
  • General awareness of engineering systems, maintenance applications, and compliance with governmental regulations.
  • Proficient in various computer applications, including project management and presentation software.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, suitable for a professional environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage complex information.
  • Competence in planning, researching, analyzing, coordinating, and presenting project specifications.
  • Ability to engage professionally with internal staff, contractors, and external partners.
