Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respite Counselor to join our team at Riverside Community Care. As a Respite Counselor, you will work closely with consumers to provide guidance, education, and support to help them maintain their physical and emotional health.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health, substance use disorder, and co-occurring disorders, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If you are passionate about making a difference in people's lives, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance, education, and supervision to consumers
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document consumer progress and activities in program records

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree with one year of experience or High School Diploma and three years of related experience
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • Basic computer fluency, including Microsoft Office
